Privacy

This site has no accounts, no sign-up and no email capture, and it does not ask you for personal information anywhere. The measurements you type into a calculator stay in your browser: they are never sent to us and never stored.

What is measured

We count page visits with Umami, running on our own server. It is cookieless: it records the page, the referring site, the country and the kind of device, in aggregate. It does not set a cookie, does not follow you across sites and does not build a profile of you.

Our web server keeps ordinary access logs — address, time, page, browser — to spot faults and abuse, and they are rotated. The site sits behind Cloudflare, which processes requests to keep it up and filter attacks.

Advertising

There is no advertising on this site today. If that changes we will say so here first, name the network, and describe what it sets, before a single ad is served.

Your rights

If you are in California, the CCPA and CPRA give you the right to know what is collected, to have it deleted, and to opt out of a sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information, and we never have. If you are in the EEA or the UK, the GDPR gives you equivalent rights.

Because we hold no accounts and no contact details, there is usually nothing of yours to look up. Write to [email protected] anyway and we will answer.

Children

This site is not directed at children and collects nothing knowingly from them.
